How long did it take Poltrygeist to get released on DVD? Seemed like forever. Was it 5 years?

I was exaggerating, but it was at least two. It didn't really play theaters till 2008, but I went to an early screening of the film back in 2006, though!

Still, worth the wait, and the dvd's got another great feature length doc on the making of the film (although I still think the Terror Firmer one is the best.)

This is excellent news! I was shocked by how awesome Toxie 4 was. Having grown up watching and loving the original Toxic Avenger (peeling out on the kids face and the weight lifting machine deaths = love), it was a long wait to get another quality flick in the series.

On a side note, I met Lloyd Kaufman at MegaCon back in March. We sat in a Q&A, mostly about Poltrygeist, but he answered any questions. He's such a cool guy.

Poultrygeist, Citizen Toxie and Terror Firmer are so absurdly great, can't wait for this one!

Hold on Noxie, I can't pass THIS up! *runs over old lady whose bowels promptly unleash*

Also, worth noting, Citizen Toxie is on Hulu, though it's the R-rated version.

At the test screening I went to (at NYU) about a half dozen people walked out after that scene. I laughed, and laughed.
