Pulled this off my shelf recently to scan for hidden gems while I washed our comforter at the laundromat. Was pleasantly surprised that chud.com got a shout-out/recommendation in the intro (at least 9 years old). The write-ups are punny, short, and very plot synopsy, but it's a handy book to have if you're looking for flicks you may have missed.



Stanley's site says they have a documentary available as well. I'll have to look into it.

I had an older edition of this back in the day and it was pretty much my bible. In fact I'd say it's a big part of the foundation of my current horror/sci-fi/fantasy film knowledge. The internet also played an important role in developing that knowledge, but for several years scouring the pages of this book for interesting sounding movies was the starting point.

I've got that book myself. Lots of listings. My only commplaint is that too much space is spent on family movies and Stanley rarely takes any chances with his ratings.
