Sad. Really sad.
Needless to say, his "and NASA backs up my statements" is pure Bullshit.
His show on "Tru TV" is a trainwreck of major proportions. He seems intent on promoting every wackjob conspiracy theory out there. Jesse seems to have landed on his head once too often in the ring.

Is the gossip that Jesse Ventura has a scientism degree?

Lou Dobbs, this guy, O'Reilly, and the Palins are perfect examples of how far the populace, as a whole, has fallen in terms of intellectual rigor and how easily large swaths of it are led to believe that an independent/renegade label is an acceptable substitution for authority, rightness, and generally knowing what the fuck you are talking about.

Agreed, and the Internet Generation are probably the worst offenders.

He was on Stern talking about some government run HARP system that runs at the exact wave lengths as our brains and it can control our minds and the weather. He suspects the big tsunami a few years back was caused by a malfunction of this system too.

Of course, he also thought King Kong Bundy would beat Hulk Hogan in Wrestlemania 2, so what the fuck does he know?

Edit: HAARP apparently...

Ventura's show is a big joke. His "doomsday" arguments are paper thin. And their fake camera malfunction on the HAARP episode was hilarious.

Probably belongs in Television rather than Gossip, but the thread title did give me a rather entertaining mental picture of Ventura in a white lab coat and holding a beaker in each hand.

On one hand, he's clearly insane....on the other hand, he wants to waterboard Cheney.
Guess we can never get the full, working package these days.
