I guess I'm racist

Completely bizarre anti-public health option ad, that completely misses the point.

The racism comments stem from the fact that the people who would benefit from the plan are poor people, which in this country are mainly people of color, and thus opposing this plan is another tool to widen the gap between White people and pretty much everyone else. Not because Obama is a Black man. This is so fucking stupid.

And who is funding this?

I was almost hoping for Jon Hamm to show up at the end in order to signify that this is just a mishandled Funny or Die sketch. But it never happened. As it is it's a pile of turd.

Well, that is without a doubt the most infuriating thing I've seen in months.

I want to hate fuck every person in that commercial.

Is that one woman suggesting that her toddler opposes the President's health care reform?

Fucking racist toddler.

Despite the overall stupidity of the ad, I do love the guy at the 0:30 mark who just flatly says, "I'm racist."

So fucking stupid. I think ads like this help more than they hurt.

the little girl disagrees with obamas health care plan? they might as well have used a dog.
woman: i guess we're racist
dog: woof
The first funny comment I've seen on youtube.

If Obama were white and refused to release his long-form birth certificate despite multiple lawsuits, allegations of forgery, and contradictions in the story of his early years, the media would have pressured him to do so. (We have seen John McCain's long-form birth certificate.) They didn't in part BECAUSE he is black and they don't want to appear "racist."

The Democratic leaders fell in love with Obama knowing they could use his race as a shield, and they play the race card non-stop.

I read that and for the first time in my life I thought "Would I be happier if I was illiterate?"

No, because you can still hear it on FoxNews.

Hahaha, this is the perfect example of people inside an ideological bubble not being able to function outside it.
This is so atrociously idiotic, its just going to get traction in a community that opposes the health care, and the president most likely, anyway.

And boy, did they scare me with those amazing 12%!

Wow, the sad racist black guy in the end killed me.

What was the point of that spot anyway? Is the 'innocent' way they proclaimed their racism supposed to infer they're not actually racists? Because for all I know they are.

The reason that the black guy is there is American conservatives have this weird idea that non-whites can't possibly be racist towards other non-whites. For instance, the way conservatives refute the idea that the LAPD is racist is to list all the non-white people who are in the chain of command. It's fucking moronic, but it's part of the mindset.

That's because to them, there are two groups of people: white people & everyone else

My problem with this ad is: "okay, I guess you are, you stupid ignorant motherfuckers."
The thing that irritates the shit out of me about this is that quite a few white people automatically make that distinction between white people and everyone else, but when people (especially other white people, you dirty damned race traitors, you) dare to suggest that white privilege exists and is a serious problem, it's suddenly reverse racism.

I wonder if this is actually airing someplace other than youtube. Horrifying.

lulz @ "12%!!!!!!!!!!!rawrrrrrrr!!!!!!" Jesus.

And I fucking LOVE how the Carter quote really has fuck-all to do with the health care debate, and everything to do with general, broad-sweeping and irrational hatred of the president.
