Wii party game?

Hey guys -

I'm looking for a recommendation for anyone who knows their Wii games. I do not.

I have three adorable nieces who have a Wii. They're not the most sophisticated gamers - they still enjoy Wii sports. I got them Mario Party last year and they loved that too.

I want to get them another 'party' game they can all play together (ages 10, 8 and 6, I think.) I looked at the Wii wall at my gamestop, and there were a ton of third-party 'party' games, but they all looked like so much shovelware. Can anyone recommend a quality one?

BTW - I considered Wii sports resort, but they means buying a second new control dealie, and that's beyond my budget.

ty in advance for any info/advice.

If they don't have one, a Raving Rabbids game would be a safe bet. The first couple of them can be had for under $20 each.

Boom Blox. My kids love it. So does my wife, who is not a gamer.

grubstreeter, Children 6-10 are perfect ages for anything...Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, So I would recommend...TMNT Smash Up, where 4 people can play another, making it the...Ultimate Party Game. I also recommend for the evening meal...Pizza! The game can be played with the classic controller.

Imagi's TMNT film, would also be a good gift. I watched the film...5 times with my young cousins, and they are both girls age 7 and 9, and they love the...Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I showed them the first...6 seasons of the 80's cartoon, in addition to TMNT (07).

I must also recommend Boom Blox. That is probably the best party game the Wii has outside of Wii Sports.

ty all for your suggestions. For $35 I walked away with Boom Blox Bash party and De Blob. (All sold out of Rabbids games.) Not quite the mini-game collection I initially had in mind, but I'm sure they'll love them, and based on reviews I've read they sound like something this uncle will want to play whenever he visits.

Duke - I love...your one-of-a-kind enthusiasm. Ludwig - is it just me, or has that tiny island's culture gone completely insane?

grubstreeter, Thank you for the compliment. By the way...Tatsunoko Vs Capcom will be...THE game of 2010, on the wii or any other system. Ninja, Super Heroes, Super Robots, Street Fighters etc, this fighting game has enough...Kicks, for all ages and either gender. Did you ever play Data East's...Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja or Heavy Barrel? If you did, and enjoy playing them, then for yourself, pick up the...Data East Arcade Collection in Jan 2010 as well. Rescue...President Ronnie (Reagan) or die trying, if you are...Bad enough, that is.
