Shock Till You Drop is reporting that Lawrence “He’ll always be Larry in our hearts” Fishburne has joined the cast of Nimrod Antal’s Predators. Feels like another of those movies that you can’t believe is actually happening ’till a trailer hits, don’t it? By then of course it’s too late.
Anyway, the film is shooting right now and he’s playing a character (gunslinger?) named Roland. He joins an already-impressive cast consisting of Topher Grace, Adrien Brody, Danny Trejo, Walton Goggins, Derek Mears and Alice Braga.
They’re a group of folks who land on the Predator’s home planet to find “unspeakable horrors”, so naturally they’re filming it in Texas. Does the Predator’s home planet have a name? Surely some comic or novel must have mentioned it…
