Project canvas, a joint venture betweeen BBC, ITV, BT, Five, Channel 4 and TalkTalk to develop a so-called Internet Protocol Television standard. Set top boxes are expected to be around £200 and will be able to access the web as well.

Sounds pretty cool to me.
