My voice is powerful sex, act accordingly.

I'm from Michigan but I've lived in the Austin area for 25+ years. I'm 6'7", 255 lbs (666 lbs in zero gravity), and I pick the goddamn terror of the GODS from my nose. Good luck.

Has this already gone the way of Rath's offer to review our avatars?

If not, give me my voice!

It might have been me as I know I've made that same mistake (more than once too). I'm a bad person.

Also, give me a narrator!
Ooooooh, yes, please!

You don't aren't familiar with Cynthia Nixon? Zooey. Wow.

Might I point you in the direction of The Manhattan Project (for some of her early work)?
I know who she is, I just didn't connect the name and the face right away. I'm good now.
Do it.

How about our former resident douche Domingo too?

In my head, he's always sounded like Andy Richter. No offense, Andy.

We all know that Moltisanti = Walton Goggins
post #65 of 258
Bullshit. Molt sounds like the lovechild of Lee Marvin and Robert Mitchum.
Is that not Walton Goggins?

You don't know me.
I'll give it a go. Not allowed to use the QB or the sports announcer though.

I was waiting for him to post to say the same thing. I read all of Molt's posts with Goggins in my brain.
I am not sure I even want to know??
I'm in. Slightly apprehensive, but in.

I do think Rath should assign voices to the CHUD luminaries - Nick, Devin, Andre, Alex (and the rest) - whether or not they ask for it, and whether or not we've heard their actual voices.
Do it.
What the hell, I'm in.

I imagine Bryan Adams. I blame the Canadian influence. Sorry.

Who's choosing it for Rath? I vote Jesse Eisenburg.

Oh yes this should be great. I'm curious who would narrate my posts.
Give it to me. Your wildfire. Don't take it from me. Give it.

I can live with that. I would've accepted Neil Young as well.

I'm still curious what Rath has in mind.

I'd be seriously interested to find out who you think would fit my tone of writing. I have some personal casting preferences, should that ever happen (A CHUD version of the FACEBOOK movie?)
Well if Ryan gets Bryan Adams then I want Corey Hart (in the biblical sense). I think William Shatner... could do a good... Fleed.

Indeed. I know you may be busy, but the idea for this thread is an exciting one, and the wait is killing me.
Hit me up too. I was born in Louisiana, grew up in Oklahoma and live in Louisiana again. I neither sound like an Okie or a Cajun. I've been doing theatre for 15 years. Go.
KFC makes a good point about accents. I feel that I have little to no accent, and I worry that any actress attempting to imitate a Massachusetts accent would make it way to thick. So really I don't think an effort towards accent appropriate casting should be made
post #91 of 258
OK, I'm curious as to what Rath will come up with. Hey, it's a Holiday week.
yup.
Try to look beyond Sam Worthington, will ya?
Sure why not.
I don't have an Australian accent, so none of this Paul Hogan shit...I sound English or gay.
More gay.

Okay... but please take a good sample of my posts. I wouldn't want you to get me all nerdy because of my LCD TV discussion!

Oh, I'm from Jersey and live in Southern California now... if that helps.
You still doing this, Rath? If so, I want to play, too.

Thread Starter
Boom. Let's do this. Explanations to follow, maybe. Some of these may be repeated.

Anderson: Lucas Black
MissZooey: Cynthia Nixon
Doc Happening: Peter Gallagher, if Peter Gallagher were a late night deejay for an oldies station.
Merriweather: Stephen Fry, in Hitchhiker's mode
BobClark: Now that I think about it, I'm going to have to go with the just-above the fray but still quick with a quip Adam Scott
Bobby Bear: Ben Daniels
Tati: B-movie actor extraordinaire Joaqium De Alameida, the "Spanish Phil Hartman"
Humanoid: Bill Pullman, because your posting about "Faith in Film" makes me think of that show he did about the end of the world
Nordling: Jesse Plemons
KidInTheHelmet: Bill Simmons, sportswriter
Dickson: William H. Macy
Feral: Jeff Anderson
Arjun: Willam Dafoe, simply because you have the best avatar ever
Dre: Sam Rockwell. The easy answer's Zach Galifinakis, though.
Mr. Cellophane: Patrick Wilson
Hocken: David Tennant doing an american accent
joeypants: Nicolas Cage
Spike: Who's the lead on the Inbetweeners, the guy with the great deadpan? That kid.
Jake: Ben Foster
LisaNY: Debi Mazar. Many people think she's shrill. I think she's awesome.
Schwartz: Wendell Pierce
Mattolli: Bill Paxton
Ryan S: I'm going to go left field and pick Ian McShane here, because I get a kick out of hearing Ian McShane narrate informative posts about sound
Diva: Wanda Sykes
Cameron: Ed Westwick. You know why.
DJ Dylan: Heart! Also, Patrick Fugit
Greg Clark: Rob Lowe (or Cougar Town's Dan Byrd)
tommy five tone: Guy Pearce or Paul Bettany
Princess Kate: Kristin Schall or Miranda July

I know I missed a lot of people, but that's off the top of my head and I need to think about some of these more. Round two will come soon, but I have to get up in five hours.
Bettany! SCORE!

Merry Christmas to you too, Rath.
