Yeah but the laptop serves as a shield, plus all I have to do is close it and swing it at your head, no prep needed!

In my professional opinion, that would be absolutely awesome. No more obnoxious drunks in business class!

For some reason, I've just pictured Frank piloting a spaceship full of stasis pods...and it was a good picture.
Or maybe a control system in the cockpit, with a button assigned to each seat; press the desired button, passenger is injected with a knockout agent by the injection mechanism hidden in his/her seat (but wouldnt a pop up mallet be more awesome and satisfactory?).
Also, could the air system in a plane flood everywhere but the pilot cabin with knockout gas? I mean, i have no idea if it would work in practice.

Or just limit the amount of drinks given in 1st class (for free). Geez, a few flights ago we were a bit delayed and it was completely getting out of control. Almost seemed like a frat party, with an obnoxious guy even belittling people back on coach (then again, I think he was one of the few sober people ...)

...so, this whole episode comes down to a wardrobe malfunction?

Here's a new one. At a House Committee on Homeland Security hearing, a State Dept. official revealed that they revoked theChristmas bomber's visa only to have intelligent agencies request they take no action. Detroit News: Terror suspect's visa kept valid for larger probe, hearing told

Wonder why this isn't getting reported anywhere? Kind of a key detail.
