iPod to iPod Transfer

This seems like it should be a fairly common question, so if anyone can either tell me how to, or point me somewhere that can, then thank you.

Basically, I got a Nano v5 and am looking to move all the stuff from my Nano v2 over to it. Again, seems like it should be something pretty simple, but I seem to be having issues with it.

Any help is appreciated.

Yeah, I had a few issues after a few devices, and I ultimately had to call Apple tech support.

Long story short - I got my first Nano four years ago, and since I was new to the technology, I got a little guy that only held about 250 songs. A year later, I got the iPhone, moved all my music onto that with no problem, and cleaned out and sold my Nano.

THEN, when I got rid of my iPhone this past summer, I got a new Nano that holds a gazillion songs. However, when I went to move my music over from my existing iTunes library to the new Nano, here's what happened - it split up the 60 or so songs I'd purchased for my first old Nano and wouldn't let them download onto the new one - for some reason, it read it as two different accounts. But everything else purchased from the time I'd gotten the iPhone transferred over with no trouble. So, old Nano to iPhone - no problems. iPhone to new Nano - problems. Anyway, I had to get tech support on the line, and they fixed it, but it took them a little while - it was a matter of re-setting my account.

Gotta love google. Just copy it back to your computer and then reload back to your new device.

This worked perfectly. I found a couple of sites when I Googled the problem, but they were all pushing programs that needed to be downloaded. This was a much better alternative.

Thank you both, very much appreciated.
