I've noticed that there are quite a few politically active progressives in the Chud community and no thread dedicated to the show that is probably the best advocate for progressive views on television. So, I thought some of us might want to discuss the show.

What do you guys think of tonight's coverage of "The Family"? It's the one instance I've noticed where Dr. Maddow wasn't completely prepared to rebut and they're going to address the issues with the interview tomorrow.

President Obama has only been in office for one year. Everyone else has complete his term in office. So, look for how he stacks up in 3-7 years.

Wow. Thanks for that. I'm glad Maddow is out there, but now I don't know whether to scream or kill myself. Hopefully her exhortation at the end will sink in at some point.

Here, Maddow holds what might just be the most interesting interview with Tarantino about Inglourious Basterds I've come across.

I would've liked to have seen less Clinton health coverage and more of that personally.

I was one of those people he was talking about who saw the movie three or four times and it didn't click in for them until Rachel said it that way. I'll take any reason to watch the movie again though.

VP Biden will interviewed on TRMS tonight (9PM EST)



Curious to see the interview. I am planning to watch a movie in the chatroom if anyone else responds with interest, but if they don't I'll be watching the interview live. Maddow is a canny individual and should have some pointed questions for AMTRAK Joe

Absolutely spot on, obviously, but there are few in her profession who are willing to point to the elephant in the room and call it out using such plain language.
