My stop-motion "North Pole" puppets

I've been working on a Rankin/Bass inspired stop motion animated short film for my blog (Yeti!), so I thought I'd post the creations so far. I plan on having more elf variations (with a few homages as well)...






*The elf will probably get a face with a less Edward James Elf-mos" pocked surface in the end.

Love, love, LOVE that Yeti, Darkmite! All of the puppets look great (keep the elf with the pock-marked face... he's got character!), and I can't wait to see the final vid!

Yeah the Yeti steals the show, WOW. I love that it looks "cute" in a horrific way too :-)

Very unique. Is he going to dismember Santa???

These are great DARKMITE, like the others, your Yeti is particularly fantastic; I love the paint job on his face and the slime and slobber is a great detail!

Speaking of the little details, I'm also loving those wee presents and that small Elephant fellow on the train. Looking forward to seeing the animated short on your blog, sir.

Keep the elf as is. He's awesome.

I'll concur that the Yeti is glorious. Love to see a close up of the hands.
