Happy Birthday THE EXORCIST SYNCHRONIZED Guy - Page 2

Synchronized is VERY original. I suggest you read it again. And LOTR2 is the FOURTH installment, not 6th, duh. Research first before you insult me. I know I have.

Its less fun when you make it so obvious that you're a complete phony.

There's nothing phony about the fact that I write scripts.

I think I went to school with this guy, I remember someone in my year trying to write a sequal to The Lord of the Rings. He to did not understand that a sequal would be pointless.

That depends on the story line. Mine makes perfect sense and is a natural EXPANSION of the story and characters not a mere retread.

I met a local film maker who is interested in filming it. He really likes my idea, and might even want to make Synchronized after. But I am holding out hope for a bigger budget and actual movie stars.

David, legally, you can't. You know that, right? You just can't. Nobody's opinions here matter. You just can't. I feel bad about you not knowing this. 100% you can't. It has nothing to do with talent or ambition.

Yes he can Gabe don't lie to him.

Wow... I didn't get what that Synchronized thing was about in the Star Wars thread.

I see now.  I see...

My god.

Thank you, CHUD.

Thank you so much for this.

Oh jesus.

I remember the original thread and Litmus's The Blackest Hole poster. That was a thing of genius.

Him resurfacing with 2 Fast 2 LOTRious is something I couldn't have even dreamt of.

I can but I can't sell it. My plan is to shoot several scenes from Synchronized with a local film maker and some theater actors and then take the scenes and the script to the studio. Then I will see if I can get an agent to help me get it made. Sequels get made all the time.

Yeah, you can't do that, either.

You sure can try, though! Keep us updated on the results!

Wait, WHAT?  I NEED!!!

Edit:  Goddamn it, I thought you meant Litmus had resurfaced with a 2 Fast 2 LOTRious poster, which would have made my month.

I was hoping to share my LOTR2 but I see there is no point. if anybody wants to talk about Synchronized that is fine with me because I have made it so much better and more mature but it is the same basic story

Why can't I make a demo video of a movie I want to try to sell to the proper owners if I am not making money off it?

Listen David you never listen to this guy alright? He is clearly telling lies and doens't know anything about legality. He is just jealous that you going somewhere with your life and he isn't. Now go shoot those scenes and don't cheap out on the budget, maybe take a loan out on your house or something.

Start with this scene from your screenplay it's the scariest. If it's stll in there of course.

That night, Reagan and Julie suddenly hear screaming upstairs and run up. Its Will's voice yelling "NO!" and a demon yelling "Do it!" They run into Will's room and see him without pants and his legs lifted around his head and he's thrusting a crucifix repeatedly into his anus. There is blood everywhere. Will screams "Let Jesus f-ck you! Let Jesus f-ck you!" Julie jumps on him to make him stop, but he wraps his legs around her head and forces her face into his bloody butt. "Lick my blood and shit!" he screams.

Yes that scene is still out there. We will be doing scenes but I won't bankrupt myself.

David Morgan could you see yourself playing the role of Will?

I would pay good money to see these "demo" scenes. In fact, I'd contribute to the funding; just tell me how and when, because I've been waiting almost ten fucking years to see this movie...

For the life of me...I'm not sure which should be more flattered.

My last name isn't Myers, it's Morgan.

Do you mean because someone can steal it? If you Google there are enough records to prove I wrote it that I don't worry about idea theivery.

This thread reminds me of the time when I was 10 or so and trying to write an Aliens Versus Predator screenplay...

I am only half the talent that is myers87.

I thought this was a thread about watching The Exorcist while listening to some album which ends up following the plot pretty closely.  What I discovered was something even more magical.

I'm in the same boat, Martianman.

I've yet to read the screenplay, as there's no whiskey in the house, but his posting style reads like he's the Vinz Clortho to Kate's Zuul. If I had known he existed, I would have suggested getting them together ages ago.
