For me, its the opposite problem really; I find people based solely on weird shit, so if I find someone with the same quirks/fetishes as me, I try to make it work, rather than finding someone I'm compatible with on an emotional/relationship level and then bringing up the weird shit.

For instance, I met this girl at a bar, and all she did was talk about how she liked to dress men up and lead them around at leashes at the mall. She also had a kid. I ended up paying the bar tab and passing out in my car. It was literally the worst thing ever.
