Smokin' Aces 2: Assassin's Ball

How bad will it be? Carnahan produced this prequel to his original, which was another lame pseudo-Tarantino~esque knock-off parading as a Guy Ritchie type of heist film. Here we have Tom Berenger and Vinnie Jones starring, two actors who are direct-to-video stars, whom I think were in some decent theatrical films once upon a time. But I'm sure that if you're still not sick of crime movies that are too slick for their own good, well, this is a must-see. I'm expecting copious lame goddamn arguments about drugs with every sentence ending in MOTHERFUCKER, just before we CUT to a CLOSE-UP of their GUNS before they SHOOT EACH OTHER immediately and they kill something or someone unexpectedly. Oh, it's going to be fucking cool! Can't wait to see what color coded frames they'll have in this one. Some red vision is always nice. Blue too. And an assassin chick in leather!

I want to see this movie. Sounds great.

Same here. In fact, after blowing off the incessant commercials(which were having the adverse reaction of making me want to burn Universal down to the ground rather than see the film!), my spotting Berenger's name in dreary's write-up is actually going to make me check this out.

It does have Tom Berenger, Vinnie Jones and Michael Parks in it. But it's also directed by the guy who did From Dusk Till Dawn 3 and The Lost Boys 2, so it has a really good chance of being pretty shitty.
