That's messed up. Is it bad cancer, or the kind that you can live with/get better from? I ask because your link is broken

PS I feel so sad for Jennifer Carpenter! She is fantastic and they just got married. What a nightmare...

Sorry, (should be fixed now) here's what it says:

"The 38-year-old Dexter star said he's suffering from Hodgkin's lymphoma, but that the disease was caught at an early stage in a "treatable and curable condition." He's currently receiving treatment at an unidentified Los Angeles-area facility"

Wow. Still not good though.

EDIT: This also might have been a better fit in the gossip section, FYI

Oh, sorry, I never know. Doesn't gossip imply it may or may not be true?

I'm not really sure. I don't particularly care, I was just letting you know. Most celebrity news seems to go in gossip, from what I've seen. (Including deaths, which are usually confirmed beforehand: P )

While I'm sure you're(In your way) sincere, that picture makes your post really tacky.

I am sincere, I really like her. She's one of my favorite actresses and one I've talked up on the site before.

I thought my picture was amusing, trying to put a funny light on a bad situation.

But I'll change it.

edit: changed, but my post is less funny now...

Took me a second to figure out what was going on, but once I did, I laughed pretty hard.

"Is it good Hodgkin's or bad Hodgkin's?" - Larry David

It happens all the time, but it never ceases to be sad, hearing about a young person being afflicted with such a dreaded disease. Best of luck to him.

Curious if this/his treatment will mess with Dexter's schedule.

I find it kind of weird too. I have a hard time watching their scenes together on Dexter without feeling uncomfortable now, basically.

I like punctuating those scenes with "KISS HER YOU IDIOT!"

Sacrifices must be made. But seriously, great stuff with that original picture.

This sucks btw, but at least it's treatable.

Check out that armpit sweat on Carpenter!

But yeah, sucks about Hall. At least it seems he will be okay.
