That was a piece of shit. A mish-mash of ideas from other, better films thrown together and spewed onto the screen badly. Yuck.

What was the plot (if it had one) about?

Plot: Family move into house with dark secret in the garden - a "cubbyhouse" where satanic cultists did satanic cult things 30 years ago. Evil awakes, yadda yadda yadda...

Stars: You do get to see Craig McLachlan from Neighbours get spiked in the face with a root.

But at least Jaws sounds like a fun B-movie title, whereas Cubbyhouse sounds like some straight-to-tape Teletubbies kid-flick.

Now, I have no clue what Cubbyhouse is, and I've never heard about it before this morning, with this thread. However, if Cubbyhouse is indeed a killer Teletubbies movie, with a cool cover of a Teletubbies knock-off in front of some creepy looking kids house, with a giant butcher knife, and crying children on the cover as well, then I'd understand how one could be disappointed by this.

From what I can gather, "cubbyhouse" is the Australian term for a child's playhouse. Under the right conditions, it could be quite sinister. Probably. Anyone?
