Oh, Matty boy, Matty boy, Matty boy.
I have been in one fight since elementary school. My sophomore year in college, I lived in an apartment with three fraternity brothers. I'm laying in bed with my girlfriend one 3am, when we hear glass breaking downstairs. I get up and go downstairs to find one of my fraternity brothers (he used to live in the apartment but had moved out 4-5 months previous) drunker than shit and getting a little violent. Two of my roommates (both of whom were pretty small and quiet guys) were trying to calm him down, as he'd just punched out one of our windows. We were more concerned for him than we were about the windows. He'd lost his father to cancer about a month before hand and had decided that tonight was the night to drink a bottle of Jack Daniels an 8-10 beers to "clear his head." We got him to sit down and tried to talk to him, but he was completely out of his mind, saying that he was the devil and that everything was the Jews fault. We talked to him for probably an hour or so and he seemed to calm down. One of my roommates said some thing to him and he got up and started throwing things threw another window. I go to grab him and he pushes me away and takes a swing, clipping me on the jaw. At this point, I'd had enough and I got pretty pissed. He swung again and I ducked under, came up behind him and choked him out. I let him go on the floor where he started snoring very loudly. One of my roommates called the cops while another checked to make sure the guy was ok. He managed to wake him up and he went straight back into fighting, shoving my roommate down and then trying to stand up and kick him. When he stood up, I Cobra Kai'ed his legs and laid on top of him until the cops came. The cops dragged him to the car, and threw him in. They came back to ask us if we wanted to press charges (we didn't) and the guy started trying to kick out the cop car windows, so they emptied two cans of mace on him.
Of course, when he showed up the next day he had no idea what happened and wanted us to explain to him why he woke up in jail.
