Whomever loses, we win.
Shame about Bubba Nosferatu, though.

I think Fritz is the better character fit for Ted Raimi.

I was greatly disappointed by MNIB (although I did love his Q&A at the screening I attended). But my love for Bruce is so strong that this excites me greatly too. And ya never know. Maybe this one will really click and turn out genius.

MY NAME IS BRUCE is only worth watching if you're interested in seeing two or three of the fakest-looking beheadings ever committed to film.

Such a good idea for a movie, too. Sad how amateurish it turned out. Bruce the B-movie actor's problem may very well be Bruce the B-movie director. The next Sam Raimi's gotta be out there somewhere, Bruce. Go find him.

I actually kind of like MY NAME IS BRUCE. It's not any good, but it has its charms (Ted Raimi, the Evil Dead winks, Ted Raimi). I do agree though that Campbell isn't much of a director, but C'mon, there is no way I'm not going watch a movie where Bruce Campbell fights Frankenstein.

Yeah, so good it was done better as Fright Night and 3 Amigos and A Bugs Life and...

Yeah, but those movies didn't have Bruce in them, so.

I like MNIB but I know that it's a shadow of the glorious movie it should have been. If Bruce has another shot at making that movie, I say take it.

I think the movie should have had a slightly darker and more serious tone, as that would've made the overall concept stronger (and funnier, in my opinion). Since the film went full on cheese, it became a little tiresome for me as it progressed.

Yeah, but instead of having Bruce playing a character, as in the films you mentioned, you have him playing HIMSELF. (Or a weaselly, thick-headed version of himself, anyway.) Which gives filmmakers free reign to play off Campbell's Hollywood status and his real-world oeuvre. So ... marginally clever. Could make for a really fun 90 minutes. Didn't though.

Plus, it seems like there are entire scenes missing from MY NAME IS BRUCE. One minute you have a Bruce Campbell mega-fan getting attacked by a demon. Five minutes later the whole town is welcoming Campbell as their savior. I was left wondering how in the hell the kid sold an entire community on that plan of attack.

(I actually just watched this thing this weekend, so it's all kind of fresh in my mind.)

My Name Is Bruce is a mess but it's a very loveable one just because the man is The Man. Like Alex says, any Bruce is good Bruce.

I'm a devoted Chin fan and love Frank's monster, so bring it.

Hopefully the kills are more creative in this one though.
