There was french film which boasted a similar plot to this film, it had Gerard Depardieu and Fanny Ardant but I haven't seen that so I'll discuss this instead. This is a remarkably stylish thriller, the classically styled score and classical type of filmmaking and performances elevate what, in reality, is a fairly silly film about a married woman who finds out her husband has been fucking around, so she makes up a new identity, tracks down the other woman and plots her revenge.
The wintery landscape is shot with a deft eye by the director, the performances are all superb, especially by the two women Outi Maenpaa and Ria Kataja.
