Also, totally not plumbing Fabfunkian depths here, but this site's kinda awesome in a retro-porn way.

NSFW, obviously.

Never minding the awesome history, and beautiful shots therein, I just love sites like this just to play "Where The Switch Flipped" where curvy, natural bodies with fat and flaws and women who actually look like they're enjoying the sex get phased out for 115lb blondes with fake tits.

I've got it narrowed down to somewhere between 1976 and 1983.

It's weird, but I agree on the approximate timeframe.

Paul Thomas Anderson has some interesting views on this subject. Have you guys watched the interview he did during the Boogie Nights release where he's eating pizza and discussing porn as a genre of film?

The sad thing is most of those women would fall under Chubby Porn these days. That ain't right.

That 1985 Swank with Traci Lords on the cover would be a no no.

Ah, here you go, then.

I've seen that. If the slice of pizza wasn't already bizarre enough, he has a light saber in the other one.

If you're looking for vintage porn, there's also:

Library of various porn novels. It's kind of hilarious-most of them have this uberserious introduction about how they're valid pieces of literature dealing with the ramifications of repression/suburbanennui/subversionofsocietalnorms etc.

I have a book called "DANGER IS MY BUSINESS"

It's fantastic and covers the history of the stuff that's on that website.

It's a book on the history of pulp magazines.

Here is the cover:

I'd have to run through the library, but I'm pretty confident that I probably own a handful of the sleazy paperbacks (more than a few from a prolific publisher of the genre called Nightstand) listed there. I love shit like that.

Heh heh. Nightstand Publishing. That's classic.
