ugh. Looks like the bastard offspring of Legally Blonde and Sky Captain.
So depressing.
Star Trek fan films look more expensive. Fuck me. Cox has been Troma-tized.

Never thought a guy so obviously into CINEMA would deliver something that artificial looking. Is there some thematic point to all that, or is this just a broke-ass movie?
This is a sequel to The Room right?

"Oh, hi Repo Chick."
Also, is this movie from the future, or do Don Johnson and Rosanna Arquette rally look like that now?
Oh Jesus that's not Don Johnson it's Chakotay from Voyager.
Well, that sucks cox.
This looks like a waste of 100 grand.

Repo Men, on the other hand, looks awesome.
you lost me at "not a good movie at all".

repo man is the shit. a punk classic. imo.
Hahahahahaha. That's...that's wonderful.
You're right, I would never have expected that. Ho. Lee. Shit.

Repo Man is the Graduate of my generation.
... couldn't you have simply said "REPO CHICK trailer: Total crap, not even worthwhile when high" ...
Uh...?
I love this.
Yikes. What's up, video effects?
That trailer is reeeeaaaacchiiiiiing!
And yet...
And yet, it still looks more enticing than TRANSFORMERS.

That's nonsense.
It's such an assault. It already looks like some soft core green screen thing that would turn up on Showtime or something. But then, as a trailer, it's almost completely incoherent. Does lack of money make you forget basic storytelling or marketing?

That's what i was thinking. Looks like some kind of Trom or 80's era John Waters throwback.

Or a video by The Cars.
Right. Basically it looks like the work of a director who has been released from a 25 year cryogenic sleep.
I got a distinct "Hey y'all, let's put on a show" vibe from the trailer. Everything from the bizarre green screen choice to the broad performances (broad is an understatement, but I lack the words to describe it accurately) make it feel like a group of friends who have access to some basic gear and software decided to make a video. Perhaps if I saw the whole movie I'd think it was some sort of subversive work of genius, but based upon the trailer it just looks weird in a way that isn't compelling at all. At least, not to me.

And from the guy who made Walker and Sid and Nancy, it's kind of heartbreaking. Diary of the Dead-level heartbreaking. Maybe worse.
Much worse. I can't think of a stronger example of a director completely losing it. Ten bucks that girl is only in it because she boned him.
I'm looking for the joke.

Was that a cover of Holiday In Cambodia in the talk-show sequence?
This is a joke right?
A quick visit to IMDB reveals character names such as Eggi, Sixsixsix, Nevavda and Giggli. [head smack]

It was made for 100k. Is it really that heartbreaking? If nothing else, you have to appreciate the DIY punk rock attitude it takes to make something like this.

I don't even know if I'm buying that but it's all I got.
That trailer still shows the work of at least a dozen dudes on After Effects or something, so I can't swallow the "DIY punk" thing. Going out and stealing shots/locations would have been punk. I don't know what this is.

But visuals aside, it seems cut together by someone who has never seen a trailer in their life. This is a guy who loves cinema so much he wrote THE definitive book on spaghetti westerns. And gave it away as a free PDF on his site. So yeah, kind of heartbreaking.

This wouldn't even fly as a 10 minute show on Adult Swim. It's inexcusable.

I've worked on movies made for 1/5th of that amount and it still looked about five times better than this. But then, it employed real locations and practical sets, not yet another green screen jerkoff session. So it was made for 100k? It looks like it was made for about $100.
If this movie was made for $100,000, none of that money made it to the screen. This looks like it cost $250 and was made by a community college dropout that cast his friends in all the roles.

It looks like a fan-film. And I don't mean that as a compliment.
Well, in my defense... I threw the 100k number out there, not to defend how the movie looks but to say: "Come on, you can't be that heartbroken... this is throwaway nonsense. Did you expect much at all?"

... and it was an admittedly halfassed defense.
That was just fucking sad.
Worst advert for a 3DO game EVER.
I really hope that it's some kind of meta comment on remakes.
