Top Gear Season 13 BBC America

I know there is another Top Gear thread.. but I'm confused about the sequence and when it airs in Britian.

So I'm starting the BBC America Top Gear thread! Last night was the first episode of Season 13 where they "revealed" The Stig!

gotta say that once you watch one episode of this.. by the time you catch the second one, you are hooked.

Sounds like you are two seasons behind then. We generally get 2 seasons in 1 year though so you are watching summer 2009

That's what I figured.. my son is really enjoying these as he is all about cars and racing at age 4.

Try to find the other seasons because they (at least from season 4 on) are some of the best TV going.

The show has gradually been decreasing in quality over the past few years as they shift more and more towards being a sketch comedy "reality" show rather than automotive entertainment show. This last season (14) has probably been my least favorite of all the seasons thus far. They're still capable of doing some brilliant TV, but I would argue that from 7 hours worth of broadcasting this last season they've really only produced a few of good segments.

If it at all possible I would highly recommend getting the UK versions of the show, as they have a lot more wiggle room when it comes to getting licensed music. The shows are edited down and the soundtracks altered in a lot of places once the shows make the shift across the ocean.
