I don't understand why the studios pay extra for the glasses with the conversion???? WTH are they thinking... That is paid for by the 3D surcharge at theaters.

But hey if the studios want to be ripped off, be my guest.

Looks like piercing headaches in a cinema are going to become the norm from here on in.

Whoopie.

Feh. Let's hope they've figured out a way to make 3D effects added in a post-process work a lot better than it did in Superman Returns and the Harry Potter movies. And then there's the fact that the filmmaking for these movies really aren't suited to be in 3D to begin with...

Every movie ever needs to be 3D. If someone could get me a 3D Far From Heaven that would be great.

Actually... I hope this ends up being exactly like it was for the movies I listed, so that 3D's 'reputation' gets sullied back to what it was at before.

I hope that the next BOND in in 3d. The 3d revolution continues, and a film like Bond might be the perfect vehicle to show that even a 3d drama migh twork
post #9 of 22
Problem is, Bond will always be viewed as an action film, and not a drama, so it won't be seen to prove anything to anyone. Besides, I like it when Bond movies are defiantly classicist.

Clerks 3D!!! Make it happen Smith!

This really doesn't bother me, unless it leads to a massive increase of stuff being thrown at my face. But you know what would get me really excited for 3D? When a filmmaker decides to use it in order to fuck with the audience. Mess up the perspective, make a room's corners appear convex instead of concave, Lovecraft stuff. Imagine DelToro doing At The Mountains Of Madness and playing with this. This I would get excited about.

Of course I don't even know if that is possible, but wouldn't it be cool if it was?

I joyfully await the 3D re-release of Boogie Nights. Who's with me?

The unspeakable things I'd do for this to become a reality.

My Dinner With Andr3.

If having more 3D thrown at our face now means audiences get burned out on it faster, I'm fine with. Just so long as Harry doesn't poke me in the eye with his wand.

I dunno, I think the Quidditch matches in 3D will be really cool once I'm done puking.
Total number of Quidditch scenes in DEATHLY HALLOWS: Zero.

They're MESSIN' with ya, Lisa.
Oh, I know, I'm just joking. Funnin' with ya, guy! Makin' a point about 3D! You kids now-a-days!

We are a carefree lot, it's true.

If they had a 3-D Quidditch scene, I'd go to every matinee showing just to throw snitches out to the crowd like a crazed muppet to cause some mayhem.

3D There Will Be Blood would have seriously been awesome.
