Good trailer. Still, not a single thing Stone's done in the last 10 years leads me to believe he has it in him to make another film as good as the original. Hope I'm wrong.

Rad teaser. Dig the music, the cuts, the cell phone and limo gags, and even the title(glad they dropped the 2 from it, if that was ever official.), only thing that I hate is the obviously dubbed-in "Mr. Gecko"(is it even said by Shia?), but that shit happens all the time in trailers. Very cool. I hope Stone still has some teeth.

Really nice. I hope the fact that they actually gave Gecko a proper hero suiting up and reveal scene means everyone involved is bringing something fresh. My hopes are slightly up.

"A silk handkerchief."
wah,wah,wah.
"A watch."
wah,wah,wah.
"A money clip with no money in it."
wah,wah,wah.
"And a mobile phone."
wah,wah,wah.

Gave me a slight Soderbergh feel. I dig the humor and tone so far.

And for those down on Douglas (for shame!), at least he didn't take BASIC INSTINCT 2.

I was wondering about the 20 years too. Even if he did get 20 years, he wouldn't have gotten a 20 year trading ban, and lots of people are well know to run financial empires from in prison.

That poster is nice. Classy photography, and I like the idea behind it.

That doesn't stop me from thinking there was some brilliant way to include some sort of statement on the modern economic crisis, some witty visual they could have come up with..... but since I can't think of one*, I'm happy to be satisified with a nice classy good looking poster free from floating heads

*Ok yes I can, Close up of a shiny window and door on a limo. Window is half rolled down, and we see Shia looking out, Gekko on the seat opposite back in the limo. The shiny window and paint on the car reflects stock/news tickers, "DOW -150, STIMULUS BLAH BLAH" ETC .

That's my idea anyway
