Hey...I saw you die. Or at least get stabbed and then burned. Interesting storytelling device, I figured we'd see how things would actually have gone at the end of the season. Intrigued with how they bring it all together.

A little from Timeline A, a little from Timeline B.

Booooooone.

Boone! And next to Locke, it's that one guy that looks a little bit like Kevin J. O'Connor! I know his face, and I know he was in another episode of the show, but I can't think of another thing to use for reference.

Frogurt!

Was Artz in the tail section when it went down? We need some Artz before these two hours are up. And if he blows himself up again, well, I won't even need to see the rest of the season, I'll be content with that. Ok, that was a lie.

ChAAAAAAAly!
Dead is dead Charlie. And Jacob using Hurley's power to talk to dead people, absolutely brilliant.

So -- what the hell is Desmond doing on 815? I guess he would have taken it had he not washed up on the Island? Which I guess he would have sailed over with it being on the bottom of the ocean and all..?

And I only notice this because of the recap show, but plane-Jack doesn't have the 2004 buzz cut...

Sawyer doesn't have his hair short, either.
This god damn show....
Smokey doesn't like circles, son!
WOAH. Biggest reveal in two or three seasons.
"I'm sorry you had to see me like that."

Fuck me upright.
...and we're not even an hour in.
Well, that'll clear that mystery up...well, hopefully. Man, that was one of the oldest ones.

The flashback sound is different. Has to be significant.
"Sorry you had to see me like that."

AWESOME.
Flashback sounds are now parallel timeline sounds. This show is awesome.
Ben is just getting his freaking mind blown. Has been for the past season now I guess.
Haha, Sawyers smirk as he follows Hugo was great.
Why am I kind of depressed that they didn't crash? What kind of warped nonsense is Lost forcing into my brain?!
Wow, never have I been so depressed about a plane landing where it was supposed to.

ETA: dajuice!
Nice bit of melancholy there -- some are freed by not being on the island, some are trapped.
So, this 815, Shannon stayed in Australia, and Hurley doesn't think he's cursed.

Jack asking for a pen to clear Charlie's windpipe was a hilarious call back to the pilot. For us obsessive freaks who remember these things.
I really hope not much of this season is spent on a one-sided grudge match between Jack and Sawyer.

Good first ep, though.

Doc, you know what I'm talking about!
So the bomb went off and created a branch in that timeline where the plane never crashed. Meanwhile, they got sent back to the right time in their own quantum universe? Is that what's happening here? Two separate threads branching off from the end of Season 5?
Seems like it.

And the flash...over? sound sounds like an jetliner.
The Curious Case of Christian Shephard continues.
well...*this* is gonna be awesome.
Now there's a Mayan temple? Oh jesus.
Awesome goddamn sight, that Temple.
Um, yes. This is the image (the temple) that was freaking me out in the preview. You can't have a frakkin' temple and NOT have massive amounts of answers within it. You can't. Well, either that or Short Round, Sankara stones, and Mola Ram.

This!

Wow, this show is firing on all cylinders!

Awesome, flashbacks from an alt timeline!
I would do anything to have that much free time in an airport bathroom.
I feel like the missing-Christian plot-line is going to teach us that you can't escape your destiny on Lost.
It worked??
What worked!?
The guitar case! With a fucking LIST!
Egyptian mythology all over this island. I feel like it's been overlooked by viewers a little. Am I wrong about this?
:: Scanners gif ::

So, "it worked", so we're not just seeing things as they could have been, but as they are...kind of?

And Jack can't make up his mind which one is for him. So he's in....dare I say...purgatory.
I was so hoping that Kate would end up in jail in the new timeline. I liked the "new" Sawyer and so I'm not liking that they seem to be going back to dickish Sawyer.
different watch!
Oh god dammit
I bet in the alternate timeline Jin was going to leave Sun and he's the one who learned English
post #99 of 7883
If you ever buy an hourglass as a timing mechanism and not as a tool for mystical shit, you missed the point.
Wha--?
