Only Hurley could make that line good again.

They answered the goal of Desmond's gang round up. Get out of the alt-universe. Predictable, Yes. Answered previously, No.

Also, we know that Rose and Bernard have been doing what I predicted they were doing. Living their lives sans drama.

Vincent continues to be the Harbinger of Doom!

Richard!

Juliet!

Lapidus? No way!

I'm enjoying MMore's live blogging, but it stinks that we can only make one comment. It would have been cool if it were an ongoing discussion.
That was such a warmhearted realization for Jin and Sun. Glad Richard the immortal is still in the game.

Edited to add: Lapidus!
I think Jack just got the best line in the entire fucking series.
I can't decide if the Jin and Sun scene was ridiculous or awesome... but I teared up all the same.

And I've never been so happy to see copious amounts of chest hair.
Holy shit. That Jack v. Locke showdown was great.

"Jacob picked you? Kinda obvious."

"I'm gonna kill you."
"How do you plan to do that?"
"It's a surprise."
Diva, I was being sarcastic.
I was hoping, but wasn't sure. There's been a bunch of negativity in here lately (myself included). Wanted to give the show credit when it was due.

And we all guessed Juliette was Jack's ex-wife.

I <3 Hurley. "I believe in you dude."

Did Desmond switch consciousness' with himself?
Man, they are really bringing it!

It seems like that second snake theory is a good bet!

Lovin' the hell out of this!
Ok, i'm officially geeking out! Just need Mike & Waaaaalt!
Yup. It seems that the 2007 Losties consciousness' will be uploaded to the 2004 Losties and they'll live out the rest of their lives in the alt-timeline.
And I'm out. See you in the land of the living.
And just as I said that, Shannon returns. Sayid ends up with her? Ug.

Anyway, nice mirror to the last shot of Season One. At least we don't have to wait a year to see what happens. Just an ABC commercial break...
Skeletons down there? Hope that's a question that gets answered on the dvd release.

"Looks like you were wrong too." Awesome.
Gah! The "pee hole" really is a giant toilet bowl. Kinda lame. What's not so lame? MiB becoming mortal. Which Lostie will get sweet, sweet vengeance by killing him? I'm guessing Sawyer or Ben.

I saw only one. I assume it's MiB's.
A real shame the final season didnt have the feel of these last 2 episodes.

Preferred Richard going out like Fett, but I'm going with everything else.

Yup. They should have had Desmond rounding up the gang throughout the season. Then the season would have had momentum, rather than feel like 18 episodes of filler.

Is LOOOOOOOOOOCKE the new KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!?!
That last scene was EPIC!!!
Lol big time at that last shot (Crouching Locke, Flying Jack)

Somehow it works!

I only saw one too, but MiB's skeleton is in the cave with his mother.

The Entity's skeleton is in the cave with "Mother", Diva. It got washed out after Jacob threw him in there in "Across The Sea" it's definitely someone else's. I also saw some other scattered remains.

That last shot right before the commercial. FABULOUS. Also reminded me of something out of Mortal Kombat.
Damn this show! My wife & I were bawling during that Claire/Charlie scene.

Remember how I said I'd hate it if Jess's second snake theory were true? Strike that! Now I need it to be true!

Epic confrontation coming up indeed! I sense we will now go to the surgery!

Oh yeah. Thanks for reminding me about that. Who the heck is that then? Whomever anointed Mother as guardian?

Another question that I hope gets answered on the DVD is why Smokey sounds mechanical when its origins are anything but.
Yes! Kate gets sweet, sweet revenge! You go girl!

And now we know where Jack's neck bleeding is from.

So Locke finally "lets go". Who do we have left of the major players? Only Jack I think. Oh, and Sawyer.

So is the last scene Jack getting his awakening from seeing his father's body?
For a minute there, I thought they were going to have MiB switch timelines and end up in Locke's body.
I could have SWORN that the MIB was going to upload to alt-Locke.

Ha Maybe we'll get a last shot like Michael Jackson's Thriller
post #6180 of 7883
That would have been a terrible way to end the show. I would have screamed at my TV if that happened.
Dickson is my alt
Now we know why they are running this episode over. So ABC can milk as much as they can from commercials.

If by terrible you mean incredible then I agree.

Jack, Hugo, and Ben. "We are the three best friends that anyone can have!" or The Three Amigos!

I hate to say it, but the Target commercials are cleverer than they have any right to be.
I'm liking those Target commercials too.
Okay, that did it. Sawyer and Juliette made me cry.
I just really hope this isn't leading to the obvious, simple ending.

Same here. I was safe until that moment.
Perfect moment.
For a 2 1/2 show, it's REALLY briskly paced. I can't believe it's almost over.
My God. Just had to drop in to join the chorus of boos for the endless commercials. ABC is making a killing on this finale. Can they at least break me off a fiver or something for my trouble?

Christian has to show up. Have faith in the Shepard.
Hugo is the new Jacob. I sort of thought that would be what happens. He can talk to the dead after all.

It was all for show though. If Jack and MiB are mortal, there's no way that water had any impact on Hugo other than psychological. And poor Ben's face. Passed over yet again.
But now the water is flowing again, so Hugo can legitimately pass it on to Ben.
Jack's got the plug back in, and it seems that he's going to be destroyed by the energy, so it's going to be Hugo.

I really wish they would have explained how Jacob became "immortal".
I'm a little disappointed the pee cave's back in action. Makes the sacrifices made feel less epic. Plus, the way Mother and others have been talking about it, it seemed like once the light went out, it was out.
Can't wait to see their expressions when John comes in.
Locke and Ben. Wonderful scene.

Watching with my Dad, and he's calling that as the church where The Lamp Post DHARMA station is at. I think he's right.
