The Chopper Chewers Thread

I'm starting this thread to discuss all things motorcycle. For anybody who appreciates riding, or just admiring Cruisers, Touring Bikes, Crotch Rockets, even Classic Vespas.

I just bought an '09 Triumph America. Nice bike, and I got an invite to a local MC. I've got a good friend who restores old Vespas, and he does some fine work.

I'm curious, so what do other Chewers out there ride?

I sold my Ninja ZX1100 back in 06 and have been kicking myself ever since. I was working constantly and never had time to ride it. So I sold it, then 4 months later my work situation changed completely and I have had plenty of time since. But my employment is still unsteady and I won't allow myself to go into debt until things smooth out. I still go to the bike show in Vancouver every year, I still keep up to date on the new models etc...

My dream bike right now would be a Yamaha FJR1300 or a Triumph Sprint ST. I live in BC so I'm blessed with gorgeous scenery and twisty roads. My grandfather use to live in the Kootenays and I would ride down there to visit him two or three times a year. Best times of my life by far. I can't wait to get back out there.

Yeah, I am really antsy for this weather to break. I've got family who live out in the boonies, and those country roads are much more fun to ride on than here in the city. Brown county here in Indiana in the fall is especially beautiful.
