You're welcome. This was about the moment where my indifference towards Disney's pop stars morphed into ABSOLUTE HATRED.
First off, I should admit that I like when punk and pop meet. I think there's lots of room for great melodies inside the punk attitude. I think Green Day is a lot of fun to listen to despite me thinking their music is a little weak (except Tre's drumming). With that said, I think that is one of the worst things I've ever seen.

Do people even pay attention to lyrics anymore? I look forward to the Miley Cyrus cover of "Be Prepared". Or Hillary Duff's version of "Hellfire".

Fun fact about the original version: Jeremy Irons actually blew out his voice while recording the song, and veteran voice actor Jim Cummings (who also plays Ed the hyena and Zazu's gopher informant) was brought in to finish the rest of the song. The dividing point is the line "You won't get a sniff without me!"

It may have been the actress playing Aida when I saw it (I think it was the daughter of Nina Simone...but don't quote me on that), but "Dance of the Robe" slayed me that first time. I don't think the soundtrack grabs you the same way, but it's still a pretty powerhouse song IMO.
