The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

Well I completely missed this one. Apparently it was announced a couple of years ago. It was supposed to come out before the Avengers movie was released. That movie has since been pushed back. The first season has been completed and they're working on the second. No one knows when it will air.
Oh and Cap, Giant Man and Black Panther are looking pretty cool.

Wadew1, AVENGERS ASSEMBLE! I love the teaser, and it is great to see...EARTHS MIGHTIEST HEROES, include the best roster...The Avengers had. I am glad to see The Wasp, more like her original design as well. This will probably launch in...2012, I would guess. Wolverine and The X-Men, launched in January 2009, so maybe will...The Avengers.
I'd watch it for Cap cutting the Red Skull in half with his shield, but that looks like some kind of "Danger Room" simulation, so never mind.

Otherwise... goes to the head of a pretty backwards class.
lol that Red Skull thing was obviously a cardboard cutout

Animated cardboard, no less. Which is sorta meta.

That Super Hero Squad Show is literally fucking insane. Whoever writes the dialogue (primarily for Cap and Thor) has some serious issues.

They ripped off the same pose I use on my MickeySkull drawing!

Disney XD is putting this up instead of Naruto Shippuden? I hope Naruto is just on hiatus.
neaux, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes has been greenlit for...2 seasons and will air...52 episodes! Naruto will end up...somewhere. TAEMH is...The Avengers series, that I have wanted to see, since I started reading the comic in the...70's! The regular team includes...Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Hulk, Black Panther, Ant man/Giant man/ Yellow Jacket (hopefully), and The Wonderful Wasp. Avengers Assemble...Properly for the first time in animation, as the best Avengers Roster, has been assembled for, Marvel fans everywhere.
Looks like it is something they're doing to drum up interest before the 2012 premiere of The Avengers movie. I really hope that, after the purchase by Disney, Marvel animation will get the benefit of the Disney/Pixar animation experience since most of their efforts had been lackluster, and lagging behind WB/DC's animated series. I hope this Avengers series will at least be comparable to the JLA.

I've been catching up on these.

-Liked the Ant-Man episode.
-Don't really care about the Iron Man/Hydra stuff.
-They didn't want to make Nick Fury white or Sam Jackson, so he's a black guy with hair and a soul patch.
-Liked the Thor episode because THE WRECKING CREW is in it.
-Hey, the Hulk isn't dumb! He can speak in complete sentences.
-General Ross kind of sounds like an angry Richard Nixon.
Wow, I am liking what I am seeing from the micro episodes thus far.

It is basically just the Marvel Studio movies in animated form (in different adventures of course) but I like it.

Well everything except the "trying to hard to be Downey Jr." Iron Man voice... but I suppose that will grow on me, but it sounds to much like a bad impression not an animated voice.
wadew1, I feel that, Nick Fury is just like the...Steranko Fury, despite his race being changed. The Nick Fury in...Wolverine and the X-Men was too soft, Sam Jackson in IM2 too much of a babysitter, and not enough screen time for the leader of...S.H.I.E.L.D.
General Ross is also just like his comic counterpart. Basically he is...Captain Ahab, to The Hulk's White Whale (Moby Dick).
I love the...Wrecking Crew, but, for me...Thor is reason enough, for me to get excited about...The Avengers Micro episodes.
Ant Man ep was good, but I prefer, Hank Pym as...Yellow Jacket, and it also needed more of...The Wonderful Wasp Janet Van Dyne!
To me, the best part of...The Avengers was, Iron Man first...Kicking-Ass, and then getting slammed by...HYDRA Goons. I love the confrontation with Colonel Nick Fury on...The S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier!
Today's ep...The Siege of Asgard. Whilist the...Frost Giants, destroy...Asgard? Thor's reply was...I say thee Nay! I am getting more and more excited for this...Epic Avengers Series, as the previous attempts pale in comparison. This...Avengers Series, is going to be worth...Assembling in front of the tv each and every week for the next 1 1/2 years til, Marvel's...The Avengers hits the silver screen!
Today's ep...Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.! As usual, Colonel Nick Fury is the most...Kick-Ass of Marvel's non-powered heroes. He really...de-HYDRAted a couple of enemy agents today!
The Hulk is just...SMASHing today. Hawkeye and Black Widow, are involved as well.
Today, the ep features...The Wonderful Wasp, Janet Van Dyne vs Whirlwind. Awesome! I am glad...The Wasp in in this series, as she is one of my fave Marvel Superheroines.
The...Best micro episode yet! Meet Captain America and Friends in...WWII vs HYDRA! Nuff Said!

Agreed....fleed.
The Cap Episode is definitely the best one. But I'm surprised you were so restrained about it! A certain hairy guy who says "bub" a lot is a one of the Howling Commandos. It's too bad they can't throw Wolverine into the movie, but it's cool that they're doing it here.

wadew1, I restrained myself enough, for someone else to spoil the addition of...Logan, before he was merged with a cuisinart, to become everyone's favorite, short, tough, Santa...CLAWS...The Wolverine! Really though...Fury, Cap, Logan, Dum Dum Dugan (complete with trademark...Bowler hat), against the...EEEEEEEEEEEvil villains from HYDRA and Nazis!
What a...Fantastic, 3 pt Micro Episode of Captain America vs Baron Von Strucker and The Red Skull in WWII! I cannot wait to see this series!
I saw the first episode of...The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes at, New York Comic Con, and the series is the most...MARVELous animated series based on a...Marvel Comic.
Just...5 days till the classic battle cry...AVENGERS ASSEMBLE is heard! Finally, after...40 years, Marvel's Greatest Superheroes,...Finally get the animated tv series they deserve.
It is just...3 days, til...The Avengers Assemble on Disney XD! It will be a treat to see the pilot episode of this...MARVELous new superhero series, Again!
Disney XD had the preview pieces on and I got sucked in watching them.

The Thor in Asgard stuff and Captain America bits were pretty great. Made me wish I we were getting a Thor/Asgard cartoon and Captain America WW2 cartoon. Also made me realize how great a well written fantasy cartoon series could be, and how much fun it would be to have a weekly Hellboy cartoon.

The Time Travel, Hank Pym/Wasp, and Black Panther stuff was ok.

The SHIELD stuff was freaking horrible. GI Joe cartoon level bad. SHIELD must not be a big fan of having their agents train. Just not good. Poorly written and poorly done.

I think I missed the Iron Man bit, but saw it online and thought it was just ok.

When did Wolverine get retconned as a Howling Commando by the way? I know there have been comics that said he was in WW2, but I never saw he was with Fury (sorry, I rarely read mainstream super hero books nowadays).
Casey Moore, I...loved, the, Nick Fury episode. He is, almost exactly like the...Steranko Fury, with the race change, being the only exception. He singlehandedly took down...2 escaping supervillains. I loved the...Wasp vs Whirlwind, as, Janet Van Dyne aka The Wonderful Wasp, is one of my fave superheroines ever. There is no such thing as...GI Joe Cartoon bad, as A Real American Hero is...Awesome! I love all the, S.H.I.E.L.D. sequences in...The Avengers: EMH as well! Thor and Cap in WWII are the best of the micro episodes, so we agree on that. The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, is...Definitely the best series ever produced by Marvel. I saw the pilot ep at...NYCC, and it is...Awe-Inspiring. The Micro Episodes have...Nothing on a full ep. Between...2 years of, The Avengers: EMH, and the Marvel/Madhouse Anime-Iron Man, Wolverine, X-Men, and Blade, this is a...MARVELous time to be a fan of, Marvel Entertainment.
Your writing is borderline unreadable. Please change it. It is neither funny or interesting, nor should it be encouraged. Replay to me with sentences as I do to you.

The only decent GI Joe cartoon is the one Ellis scripted where there were actual consequences. The SHIELD scenes and Fury is horrible and no relation to Steranko's work. If you think that then I am sorry you are wrong and don't understand the comics.

The other modern stuff ranges from OK to blah.

And Marvel has produced better cartoons than this. Much better.
Casey Moore, First of all, don't get so...touchy.

G.I. Joe A Real American Hero is a great cartoon. G.I. Joe Resolute was good, but it was only one, Hour long, and in the end was dumped in favor of even a...Less interesting Cartoon, G.I. Joe Resolute. The character designs and costumes of the heroes and the villains are, Horrible.
The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is, Easilly the best Marvel Superhero Cartoon.
Nick Fury in, The Avengers is just like the, Steranko Fury, outside of the fact that there was a change in race. Fury in both, is a one man army, and is equally tough on superheroes, and fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents, as he is on the bad guys he defeats. The only Marvel Superhero Cartoons as good as, The Avengers are...The X-Men (90's), and dtvs like, Hulk Vs, and Planet Hulk.
i still love you Duke. and I also love these cartoons!
These microsodes air again on Wednesday afternoon, if anyone wants to record/watch them. They're following them up with PLANET HULK, then some of their prime-time stuff, then the AVENGERS premiere. I'll watch it all, but the animation/art style of the new series hasn't blown me away from what I've seen so far.
The animation works with Thor in Asgard and Captain America pieces I found. And somewhat with Kang the Conqueror.

But, along with the writing, it falls flat when it comes to the modern/Earth set pieces.

Something else I found strange in the Cap story is no mention of Nazis. All HYDRA for WW2. Are Nazis not allowed in cartoons anymore?
El Gray, I love the animation and design of...The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes! Each hero is recognizable to earlier incarnations of each character, even though there are some changes. This is no...Avengers: United They Stand, where our heroes are...All armored. Ultimate Avengers was...ok, but it was just a combination of, Classic/Ultimate Avengers. This series is the real deal. THE, main 7-8 Avengers! Iron Man, Thor, Cap, Hulk, Wasp, Pym as both Giant Man/Ant-Man, Hawkeye, and The Black Panther. Despite his, race change, Fury is finally depicted as...The Hardcore Fury that he was in the early comics by Steranko. I have seen the pilot at, NYCC, and I still cannot wait to see...The Avengers Assemble on Wednesday at...8:30 pm on Disney XD!
I'm not a fan of the cheap animation, though it does work in the Captain America arc (it kind of matches the stylized propaganda posters of the time).

But I love the "classic" take on the characters, the real stories where people die (yeah it's meant for kids, but I always hated seeing cartoons where we see a car explode just after the driver jumps out.)

And Fury's race change is fine, but for God's sake lose the Soul Patch. It's embarrassing enough on men in their 30's-40's: Fury is in his 90's!
Cylon Baby, Soul patch? Do you mean his...Eye Patch?
The Avengers...Assemble Tomorrow night!
Tonight...The Avengers Assemble, on Disney XD at, 8:30pm!
The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, is not only...Awe-Inspiring, and Awesome, it is the best animated superhero series, since...The X-Men, ended in the mid 90's!
Surprised at how good this was. The direction and plotting outstrip the merely adequate animation to easily make it the best Marvel TV show. The minisodes combined with the two-part premiere play out like a Summer event flick. A huge cast of characters pop up all over (props for casting Jeffrey Combs as The Leader), potentially setting up tons of future eps. I doubt Whedon's Avengers movie will be as much fun.
Avengers Assemble! Tonight's episode could have been titled, One...Enchanting Evening, or The Executioner's Song. Avengers Mansion is...Awe-Inspiring, too. This series is so, Exceptional, that all the previous Marvel Cartoons, pale in comparison. I definitely would love to get a...Soundtrack for TA:EMH, as the score, and opening song are...Awesome!
I cannot believe that there are not more fans of this...MARVELous superhero cartoon.

That's why I like it. There was one episode where the Hulk almost took his pants off, and I believe Wolverine said to him "don't do it or we'll lose our family rating."
Martianman, The Super Hero Squad show is a fine, Marvel cartoon. I prefer, a more serious take ala...The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. To me, TA:EMH is the...Best Marvel cartoon, ever. I do recommend both series to my friends and family with children.
