Points for the Man-Thing cameo.

I'll write more tomorrow, Duke.

Another...Awesome Episode of, The Avengers!  Each Avenger on another part of the...9 Realms.  Except for, Midgard, which is now...Ungarded!  Next week the series finale airs at...11 am EST, as the...3 last episodes air from...10:00 Am- 11:30 Am!  Hopefully it will be announced, when...Season 2 begins!

Today...The Avengers Assemble, for 90 minutes of...Earth's Mightiest Series, from 10:00-11:30 AM!

A...Cliffhanger (not the...STALLONE film!)  Verilly, a fine episode to end, Season 1.

Oops!  AVENGERS ASSEMBLE...One more time, part 2 of the cliffhanger!  9 pm Friday July 1st!

Oops Part 2, Zap2it, listed tonight's ep as new, when it actually aired last Sunday!  So the next time the call...Avengers Assemble, goes out, is the beginning of S2!

I had to stop by an give props to this show. It's not perfect, but its damn close, and totally dismisses any doubts I had about the Disney/Marvel merger. Bring on Season 2!!

(PS: greenlight a Black Panther movie STAT)

TheCatfishCommander, What do you...Dislike about...The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes?

honestly, there isnt much at all! animations great, i think the voice acting is good. i really like how they are trying to keep it in line with the movies. that said, they need a new theme intro. good god i cannot stand that loud, grating sound they call a theme song.

Ok, it's October now. Where the f is the new season? Starting to lose it here.

Cooper, Well there are...26 episodes, and it is likely that Marvel would want...Some episodes available during the theatrical release of...Marvel Entertainment's The Avengers!  I would expect new episodes between...Christmas and New Years, but that is a guess.  I agree with you.  I say let the call go out...AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!  An announcement of a...Full Season 1 box set, would also be...Awesome!

I say we get at least 2 episodes for November. That is how most of the animated shows do it.

This Sunday at Noon The Cry rings out...AVENGERS ASSEMBLE on Disney XD!  This occurs after...2 new episodes of the new series...Ultimate Spider-Man!  It should be quite the...MARVELous Sunday!  First Spider-Man Joins S.H.I.E.L.D., alongside Iron Fist, Power Man, along with Nova and White Tiger, but then...Earth's Mightiest Heroes...Return for Season 2!

I'm there.

duke fleed, have you been watching Ultimate Spider-Man? It can sometimes get a little too carried away with the jokes and asides, but it's still a fun show. Stan Lee as the school janitor is a hoot.

I just watched the episode of The Avengers that features Power Man and Iron Fist being hired by Hank Pym to find out who stole his Ant Man gear. It's amazing they can put out such a good episode that doesn't even feature any of the "main" Avengers.

Great episode.  I think my wife is now a Luke Cage fan, as she hasn't stopped threatening to "avenge you upside your head".

Mister Falcon, Of course.  A series with Spider-Man...Joining S.H.I.E.L.D., featuring younger versions of...Power Man and Iron Fist?  White Tiger is good as well.  I do not think this group needs a...New Nova, but oh well.  However, it is not even close to as Awesome as...The Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes!  There already was a team up with the Fantastic Four featuring Dr. Doom, a dust up with The Kree featuring Ms. Marvel and now...Power Man and Iron Fist.  EMH has the...Proper PM and IF.  This week features the...lesser Guardians of the Galaxy, and Michael Korvac.  The thing is the...new GOTG, were not part of the original Korvac Saga, so I am less excited about this one.  Though the group does have...Adam Warlock, whom assembled Marvel's Heroes against Thanos the Mad Titan!

Mister Falcon, In today's Ultimate Spider-Man, HULK...Teammed up with Spider-Man.  Hulk said to MJ Watson..."Hulk Hate...Paparazzi!"  MJ was trying to be a Bugle reporter, and entered a contest, and ended up recording a battle between...Hulk and Spider-Man vs an...Electricity Monster!

It's actually a really good time to be a fan of superhero animation. We currently have amazing shows such as the Avengers, Green Lantern, and Young Justice. I do enjoy the Ultimate Spider-Man show but feel it tries far too hard sometimes. Plus Spectacular Spider-Man was one of my favorites so I am admittedly slightly annoyed it was cancelled for something new. It did allow Weisman to put together Young Justice though which is excellent. Any DC fans here catch that or the new GL show?

I watched that ep this evening. It was a lot of fun, I really liked the "first person" video angle. "Hulk no give interview!"

Man this show pushes my buttons. What a fantastic episode. I love how confident it is. It's juggling so many elements and it's so faithfull to the spirit of the comics.

I adore it.

It's well on it's way to being one of my favourite animated shows. It's required viewing.

Mike's Pants, I...Agree!  The Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes is the...Greatest Superhero Cartoon based on a...Marvel Property.  It seems that the characters are...85% Early Marvel, and 15% Ultimate Universe, in their look.  I...Love, the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier in the show, as it is definitely...old school.  The Avengers Helicarrier in the live action film is Fantastic, but I prefer the original Marvel Universe to the Ultimate one.  They are really burning through episodes, so I wonder how long a break The Avengers and Ult. Spider-Man will take.  This weekend will be #9 for The Avengers and #10 for Ult. Spider-Man.  Then next year...Hulk Agent Of S.M.A.S.H. will begin, and that should itself be a...S.M.A.S.H. Hit, or The Hulk will get angry.

That's about spot on. The've got the balance just right.

I have a question. Have you seen any of The Super Hero Squad? I know it obviously aims a lot younger but I saw The Punisher's introduction (comparing criminals to Brussell Sprouts) and it was so weird and goofy, but it made me laugh. Is it worth picking up?

Mike's Pants, I did watch an episode, and I did like seeing the heroes in their original costumes, but the humor is aimed too...Low.   Not at the level of...Rugrats, but more toilet humor, than I want to hear.  I only watched...Rugrats when babysitting my nieces and nephews, which is why I introduced my younger cousins to The Original Animated Series of...Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...STAT!  Goofy, I can take, as it is humor that I...Love.  The other humor is just S_ _ _!

Holy Bejeezus this program is unbelievable.

The entire Skrull arc was perfect. The paranoia, uncertainty, panic, all ripped from the comics. This is such a good show, animated or otherwise.

Also,

Hawkeye: This is the Bugles photographer? He's ten.

Peter: I'm seventeen

Hawkeye: Respect your elders punk.

Just brilliant.

Too bad this show is getting Jeph Loeb'd in favor of a brand new, Marvel Studios-made series.

What new series is that?

Where did you read this? I've heard it mentioned a couple of times already but find no source saying the show is being cancelled.

BTW, why in the world are they airing this overseas and holding back the episodes in the US???

I haven't heard it was cancelled yet but... (quote from a Forbes piece)

Quote:
To that end, Marvel is introducing digital initiatives, new print and comic book titles, and The Avengers animated TV series on the Cartoon Network in 2013.

Seems unlikely they'd run two unrelated Avengers animated series simultaneously. More not-so-swell rumors and news about the way Marvel Studios is running their animated division at that site in the link.

ElCapitanAmerica, There have already been...8 episodes of Season 2, meaning there are only...18 episodes left, so of course there are repeats now.  If the series is cancelled, then it would make sense to stretch out the remaining episodes, til the new one is closer to beginning.

duke, no I mean they aired more than 5 new episodes overseas that they're holding back here. The Spider-Man mentioned above is one of them.

Buuuullllshiiiit

Can someone explain the logic of this to me please?

Mike's Pants, It is typical.  If you are a General Manager you want to hire your own head coach.  The Avengers EMH began...Before Jeff Loeb was hired to run Marvel's Animation Division.  Now that he is the...Big Cheese, he wants his...Own Avengers.  I will miss EMH...BUT, there are alot of my favorite series that only lasted...13 episodes-1 season, shows like...Glen A Larson's Battlestar Galactica, Streethawk, Blue Thunder, The Highwayman etc, so I can live with a whopping...52 episodes!  AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!

You are without a doubt the most optimistic person I have ever come across. I need to be more like you.

I just can't understand the decision behind this. There is a very good Avengers series currently airing. Why throw it under the bus... for another Avengers series?

It has some seriously big shoes to fill. EMH was really hitting it's stride. I'm gutted.

This is like the whole Spectacular Spider-Man situation all over again. Shame on Marvel for closing shop on this show for the most trivial of reasons.

This really sucks. How were the ratings of the current show, maybe they weren't that great?

Maybe the new series will be OK ... but damn, this show is really good why mess it up?

Disappointing to say the least.  I do agree with Fleed that we are lucky to get the number of episodes we did,  but there's so much more ground this show could have covered in a third season.  So much for the Disney/Marvel merger meaning good things for Marvel animation.  Thanks for nothing, Loeb.

New episode tomorrow.

This is one...HULKingly...SMASHing, Episode!  It is a...Banner, day as the...Red Hulk, will make Bruce...Green with envy!  With Green and Red Hulks, it should have been a...Christmas Episode!

Finally finished up with Season 2. Holy shit. One of my favorite cartoons ever. If this is all we get, then It went out with a bang. I would have taken out one of the stand alone episodes tho, to make the finale a 2 part as it felt kinda rushed for such an epic subject.

Still, part of me wonders if they knew the hammer was coming and wanted to finish up properly rather then leave a cliff hanger that would never get resolved.

Found this in a search for Loeb, guess he has quite the following

Jeph_Loeb-1.jpg

I for one, never had any faith in the merger. Sure there would have been an initial bump in quality as that immediate increase in capital would have improved projects already in production or in the pipeline. But as soon as Disney decided it was time for them to exert control and start making decisions, we would all become unhappy.

Recently watch this movie. Its nice movie to watch. Watching Superheros together fighting for world is really amazing.........

They finished airing season 2 over here this week.  And man, the last four episodes in particular are just awesome.  Dave's right in that the finale does feel a little bit rushed, but on the whole it was some great stuff.  The "New Avengers" episode had me marking out like Marky Mark.

Oh, and Yellowjacket's "Yeah, I got nothing.  It's gonna blow" was absolutely hilarious to me for some reason.

WOW!  Another...Awesome episode of The Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes!  Cap leading a rag tag bunch of prisoners on a Skrull Saucer is too cool!

Going to miss this show. The villain in the final did get short rift and it should have been a two parter as mentioned above. I kept expecting his most famous disciple to show up and it sucks that he didn't.

I didn't catch on to this show till the second series. So now I've gotten the first and am savoring them in order.

I'm finding lots of moments that make terriffic wallpapers, so if you don't mind I'll share them  Feedback? Thumbs up?HulK.jpg

ARRGH--! Just finished watching the second season of EMH, and am plenty pissed there won't be any more... Have to give it up to Christopher Yost and company, though-- they must have known a change was coming when they were producing the back-end of this season, because they crammed as much as they could into the final episodes. This show had really become something special, and it breaks my heart what they're doing.

So now we're getting the more film-friendly version, and I read that it's got some good talent attached. But it's also got Loeb-- who was recently touting another series they're developing: "Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.SH."

Loeb, in an interview: "What's more fun than one Hulk--? And that would be five Hulks!"

Actually-- no, no, noThat's how you needlessly dilute a brand and a great character. Way to go, douchebag.

Seriously. Fuck this guy.
