A look at Louie

This clip makes it seem like he understands why Lucky Louie didn't work. It had shitty actors with a standard sitcom camera setup and--in terms of the scripts--was basically his standup material split between him and shitty actors with absolute no understanding of comedic timing.

This clip shows they have at least abandoned the single camera idea and got actors who actually understand comedy.

Can't wait for this. Louis and Jim Norton are the last two great comedians working today.

That was fantastic. Thanks for the heads up. I'll definitely be DVRing the new show once it starts.

I hadn't really seen Louis' act so "Lucky Louie" was my first exposure to him. I was really bummed the show wasn't brought back by HBO because even though it wasn't all that good at first (though I haven't seen it seen it since it first aired) I remember it really starting to hit its stride and getting fucking *hilarious* as the season went on.
