Only good thing about it was Dakota Fanning, and she was MARVELOUS. Such a brave performance and to realize the she carried the ENTIRE film on her sholders? I was incredibly impressed with her. It's a shame she wasted her effort on such a shitty film. Every other element on display here was cliche, hackneyed, trite and manipulative. Basically TIDELAND meets BLACK SNAKE MOAN, but without everything that makes Craig Brewer a talented filmmaker.
