Is that the sound of a barrel being scraped?

I don't know what to make of this. I really don't. Consequently I think I'm going to read it.

It's Adam Warren, so it at least looks as if it's being approached with a sense of humor, which is good.

Looks more like something that came out of Japan.

"...one VERY conflicted UberChica, K?"

And Wolverine once again honors his obligation to appear in every Marvel comic book ever.

Yeah, I know, when you have Thor and the FF hanging about, what the fuck does Wolverine need to show up for? Running commentary on the cosmic fracas? 'Tude?

I love how the fantastic....uh, three? (Where's Johnny?) look like they are going to collectively puke.

I actually read the origin story for this in the "Marvel asistant spectacular" two issue series last year (it was a collection of stories written by marvel interns and so on).
Its kinda fun, but its a very tongue in cheek concept...which fits it, i guess.

That's what Adam Warren does.

I had no idea CHUD's very own Adam Warren could consistently draw such perky breasts. Well done old chap! Also, I think even Marvel realize that Wolvie is overused and are including him in everything sort of as a gag now. That, or he's the love interest, because teenage girls love Hugh Jackman.

The fact that she's got "food issues" made me chuckle.

What's amazing about this is that it isn't even the worst thing that's ever been done to Galactus.

I doubt we will get a giant, cosmic teen girl vomiting the planet she just consumed on the printed page.
Isnt Marvel also publishing a book about a hitman monkey as well this month?

The fact that Marvel is using or creating all of these shit characters and not using the greatness that is ROM Spaceknight is a travesty I tell ya...a travesty! Hell, the even brought back Darkhawk and kind of made him cool. WHERE IS MY ROM DAMN YOU?!?
They don't own ROM.

Eh. It's a fun, lighthearted book for chicks. What's to hate?

How in God's name does Galactus go about knocking someone up? Was Ego secretly a woman all this time?

Either you've just created a new slash fiction category, or a new hentai genre.
Hope you're proud.

Probably. I just know that Quesada's addressed the question more than once: they don't have the rights to reprint the old stories or do new ones; and I would guess that ponying up for them probably doesn't seem cost-effective.

It's a situation that Marvel has to dance around. Rom isn't written out of the canon, they just have to avoid mentioning him by name. He makes an appearance (minus the trademark toaster helmet) in one of the Earth X sequels, and Captain America simply addresses him as "the greatest of the Space-Knights!"

Well ... looks like the Ultimate Nullifier down there will be put to good use.
