Oh my god this looks amazing. How long has this movie been around/an item? I've heard absolutely nothing about it!

I searched this out right after the nominations were announced and immediately saw why it made the cut. The designs look like they've jumped right from the Book of Kells itself.

Too cool! I just got my dad a great copy of the Book Of Kells for his B-Day last year. This might be one animated film he won't dismiss as "Cartoon nonsense"

I seen it! It's pretty amazing. Real Gaiman-ish vibe to the story, too.

Well that's certainly another point in its favor.

Oh, it's from the Belleville guys. If it's anything as good as that, and it sure does seem so, then yes, it should be an almost automatic nominee.

I'm getting a cool Samurai Jack with a budget for boys and girls vibe. I managed to miss almost every great children's film in theaters last year, so I'm going to make a real effort for this one.

This won the Audience Awards at the 2009 Edinburgh Film Festival, beating Moon and Mesrine Parts 1 & 2 amongst others

This looks really cool, and it's about one of my favorite bits of history, to boot. The Book of Kells has a fascinating story, and it's well worth reading up on if you haven't. And if you ever find yourself in Dublin, do yourself a favor and stop by Trinity College, where they've got a great exhibit on the book, and the actual book itself. Well worth the visit.

Reminds me a bit of Kim Possible character designs as well.

Loved the design and animation. But the story was boring and i felt the end had no impact.
