FAIRYTALE: A True Story

Has anyone seen this one? I might get it out, I'm not sure. It is a film version of an event that's always fascinated me: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle getting tricked into thinking fairies are exist in nature. Some little girls took photos of fake fairies, and low and behold, the world thought fairies were for realz

Peter O'Toole is Doyle and Harvey Keitel is Harry Houdini.

Seems pretty cool, but what does the CHUD-munity (c) think?

In the age of photoshop, it's kind of a mindbending tale. Does the film do it justice?

Slight, but fun. Great cast (including Tim McInnerny and Bill Nighy in addition to the others you mentioned). There's more meat in the real story than the filmmakers find (or care to use), but I found it satisfying.

I think I'll watch it. Sounds diverting at least, and like I said, it's a subject that's always fascinated me.
