The Best JRPG Of All Time Comes To PS3 - Page 3

I didn't think the crab was that hard, but I had a nightmare with the puzzle forest (it was one of those things where you had to travel the screens in a specific order to make it through) and the dragon in that area. At that point I think I looked up gamefaqs to better understand the weapon construction system and started again. That second go I went all the way to the end.

I did play it recently and it's still quite entertaining. It is demanding in that if you don't use the exact tool for the job, it can be very difficult. Eg. Do you have a spear that is aligned to beasts and fire? If not you can't beat that boss very easily. I tend to like that specificity much more than games where you can simply do regular attacks and heal to get through.

I particularly liked the end as it had some nice scenes for some of the side characters, and the New Game+ opens up some new and tougher dungeons.

I don't get that. The guy killed an entire kingdom and then laughed about it. He was pure destruction, terrorizing people on a whim.

Plus he was a fucking clown.

More accurately, he was pure madness. Motherfucker was unhinged. Throwed in the cranium. I think he's effective as a villain not because he's some giant imposing figure with a 20 foot blade - he's just pure insanity coupled with access to unadulterated political power.

Totally agree. Kefka is great.
