Courtney Love showed up at Roberto Cavalli's show in Milan looking like the creature from the Black Lagoon. No one looks good in extreme close ups, but I can't even describe how terrified I am of this photo.

There was a time (around 1998 - 2001) where Courtney Love sort of had her shit together and looked healthier and more attractive than she ever had, but man, looking at the picture makes it seem like ages ago, like the rise of Sauron and the forging of the One Ring ages ago.

The red eye effect really adds a lot to that picture. Usually, that kind of thing ruins a picture. Here? It can't add anymore damage that isn't already done.

This is allegedly Courtney Love at the closing gala for Marina Abramovic's show at MOMA in NYC last night. I see absolutely no resemblance, but if its really her...damn. Much improved.

She was looking pretty good, and had her shit together, when she was playing on Jools Holland a few months back. Probably the most together I've ever seen her in a while

It's worth noting that she's got a small army of guitarists there and she doesn't actually seem to be doing all that much, but I take what I can get.*

She looks great. She also looks like a completely different person. I'm trying to imagine what a frightening mind-fuck that must be: to have a friend, family member, or co-worker suddenly look like someone else.
