Conditions are pretty simple for this inventory.

1. Go to your iTunes library, and name off your top ten songs according to your play count.

2. State the number of times you've listened to each entry.

Here's mine:

Wang Chung-Dance Hall Days(176)

Siouxsie & The Banshees-Spellbound(171)

Killing Joke-Death and Resurrection Show(170)

Suzanne Vega-Blood Makes Noise(158)

Siouxsie & The Banshees-Israel(151)

TV on the Radio-Playhouses(145)

Steely Dan-Kings(134)

Siouxsie & The Banshees- Peek-A-Boo(130)

Massive Attack-Girl I Love You(121)

The Roots-Criminal(119)

I'd post mine but my top 25 only consists of Sigur Ros, Radiohead, and one Jewel song that I listen to when I need inspiration about a character I am writing about and I do not feel like typing in all of Sigur Ros' song titles.

Yeah, that was one of the things I was curious about: who has seperate individual songs by various artists, and who has straight up albums in their most played lists. What blows my mind about my list is that none of those bands I consider to be my favorite(Massive Attack aside), but at the same time I really like those songs.

Top Ten lists are always a brain cramper because it's hard to whittle down anything definite because it's human nature to have shifting moods and tastes. This was an approach to inject some objectivity to that.

My Top Ten is sort of distorted because I recently got a new computer. But, here goes...

1. Debonair -- The Afghan Whigs
2. Stop -- Ryan Adams and the Cardinals
3. Sunshine (Adagio in D Minor) -- John Murphy and Underworld
4. Capa Meets the Sun (To Heal) -- John Murphy and Underworld
5. Shot in the Back of the Head -- Moby
6. Kanada's Death, Pt. 2 (Adagio in D Minor) -- John Murphy and Underworld
7. Two Daughters and a Beautiful Wife -- Drive By Truckers
8. Bastards of Young -- The Replacements
9. Capa's Last Transmission Home -- John Murphy and Underworld
10. Mercury -- John Murphy and Underworld

Apparently I went a little nuts with the Sunshine soundtrack.
