Congrats, Justin Clark! Very good job. As I hope you can see from this thread, you're a valued member of the CHUD-munity(c). I for one look forward to reading your next 10 000 posts!

As for my own post count, which seems to have inexplicably become a topic of discussion in this thread, for the most part it's something I try to avoid talking about
So yes, I'll admit that I think it's going to be a proud moment for me as a Chewer to hit 10 000 posts. However, there is so much resentment from certain circles about the fact that I enjoy CHUD and post frequently that I am not looking forward to the tidal wave of criticism that is sure to inundate me once I hit that magic number
I mostly just try to ignore my post count, peeking over at it every once in a while just so that I won't accidentally pass 10 000 without doing something to commemorate the event.
When I got to my 1000th post, I posted a little birthday cake gif for myself on my blog party. When I get to 10 000, I imagine I'll do something similar. I've been posting a little "Thanks for reading" message whenever 10 000 more people read my blog, but for my post count? I think once I hit 10 000 I'm going to try to downplay it for the most part. Everyone can see it next to my name. At a certain point it's like McDonalds and burgers sold. No need to draw attention to it anymore, people know they sell alot.
To me, it's about quality, not quantity. There have been posts on this site that I've spent 10+ hours writing, and they mean more to me than a silly number under my location.
Once I get to 10 000, I believe I'm only going to recognize the most traditionally significant 'big numbers' after that. So, 25 000, 100 000, 150 000, 200 000, 500 000, 1 000 000, and so on. I don't want to memorialize every little milestone
