Inspired by the Burnout Paradise thread. Probably my favorite, underutilized feature in modern gaming. A few games, like Burnout, beg for this, but I've seen some great games elevated by the right choice of background music, and I've been meaning to have a one stop shop of suggestions/experiencesa/whathaveyou created by telling the built in score/soundtrack to take a hike.
I'll start with one I brought up not long ago: I still have very little concept what the actual music for the first Assassin's Creed sounds like, because any time I see Altair stalking victims from the rafters, all I can hear is The Fountain score. And it's spectacular. Raises an interesting, but flawed experience into tense, beautifully atmospheric piece of work. Like any good score should do.
