A million times, this. I laughed so hard at Goggins' delivery. Gives me real hope the the continued growth of chemistry between him and Olyphant.

As for the series. It was good. It does suffer a bit from being "The Timothy Olyphant Show" early on, but the injection of Goggins into the mix later in the season allayed some of those concerns.

The other cops in the precinct seem woefully underused though (except his boss). Other than a tiny storyline about Raylan stepping on their toes by constantly being given lead on cases, there was really nothing to chew on there.

More than anything Justified seems like a show with a lot of room for growth. I like what Nick said about the organic nature of television, and while I think that it struggled a bit to find it's identity early on, it's been steadily evolving into some really enjoyable television.

I think to a certain extent if you think a show is "solid" or at least "entertaining" it probably behooves you to give the people involved (creator, producer, writer, actors, etc) to a second season to see if they can improve on what they did in the first season.

I thought Southland was a show that made HUGE strides forward in its 2nd season, from solid to compelling. Others have done so as well (unfortunately none I can recall at this point, I'm pretty selective in my tv watching).

Based on how good Justified was in its FIRST season, I'm pretty stoked to see what they do in the next one. Even if it just holds serve (as I feel []iSons of Anarchy[/i] did, in the end) it'll still be eminently watchable.

I'm not reading any spoilers, so I'll post this quick:

Will this help me at all with my Deadwood withdrawal?

Not exactly, unless you're gay for Olyphant. It's a good show, though.

Who isn't, though?

But yeah, it's really not analogous to Deadwood.

Well in that case, is it Bullock-y?

(I just watched the pilot, and quite liked.)

Well, Givens is the angriest guy his ex-wife ever knew. But, though there are some similarities, they aren't that similar.

Given that there's nothing else remotely like Deadwood, I'd say that Justified should do about as well as anything.

Great news. Archer and Justified, my spring television shows. Hopefully Lights Out delivers as well.

Watched this whole show on Amazon and really dug it. Excited for Season 2.

My second favorite show on TV.  It strikes at my Elmore Leonard/Louis L'Amour sweetspot.

The Han Shot first promo is brilliant.

It's pretty good, but there's an even better one out now.

It's shot POV, with the camera pointed up to the sky. You hear labored breathing, and slowly Olyphant comes into view, standing over the 'person' he just shot. He only says one thing.

"Hence why they call it 'die tryin'..."

Oh shit, it's on next week. Fuck yeah! Drinks for everyone.
