Holy shit is right. Heard this on their MySpace last week. Sounds to me like a really ragged E-Street-Band-as-Punk-Rock-Trio, and I like that.

Definitely going to have to grab this when the next paycheck comes in.

That's a good description, really (except the trio part, since they're a five piece and I think their sound is fuller than simple drums, bass and guitar).

I was hooked from the first song. Dug the Billy Bragg and Springsteen lyric dropping in one line that builds to their first chorus.

It's fucking epic sounding. I liked their last album but I sometimes thought it was too overblown for it's own good. Here, they go even BIGGER and it totally works. So I guess I was wrong. Epic suits them.
