Lesbian teen back at Miss. school after prom flap

What? Why did someone have to be disappointed? Why couldn't the school just let a lesbian student escort her girlfriend and wear a tuxedo instead of turning this issue into THE END OF ALL DECENCY IN AMERICA.

I don't get it. Granted, I went to high school in Northern California but I don't see how this became such a big deal. I guess it IS Mississippi...

Thoughts?

Pfft. I mean yeah, we all know this is bullshit - but in a country where grown ADULTS are barely allowed to be gay, you think they're gonna accept it from the CHILDREN that they're always begging someone to think of? This isn't surprising in the least. That said though I'm glad she fought it and they should make a helluva noise about this. And good for her for going back to class the next day.
