I will try to resisit spoiling the pain.

As for 2 and 17 on my list I actually like them but they fall into the so overplayed they have become annoying catagory.

It's so gloriously misguided, I can't help but love it a little.
This is what I sent NathanW:

Beside a couple of songs like the Northern Kings, it's mostly guilty pleasures/stuff I listened to. Shame on me for the Euro D & D metal. I had to cut Nightwish from there, but it belonged in this shit.

If anyone wants The Pain, let me know with a PM.
Hey now. I'll defend Dokken to my dying day.

I'm actually going to have to step in and defend a lot of that first disc, as well as "The Ballad of Jayne." Yeah it's 80s hair metal, but it's pretty well-done 80s hair metal.
It's not a CD of absolute crap. Most of this stuff I still listen to from times to times. But the whole hair metal movement? Pure cheese. It's pretty bad, and it aged poorly. Fuck, I removed a couple of songs from that list, and it's a setlist I listen yesterday.
Mine is total shit, but I like some of it. Burned it yesterday because I'm late like that. Sorry, radical.

Ha! I was going to toss my playlist and art-suitable-for-framing up this morning and realized that--for the sake of the children--I had deleted all traces of it. So, as I mentioned, it's up to Louris.

I do too, but it provided a nice intro to the next two songs.
You have no idea how close I was to using track 2, Parker. More power to you having the nerve to take the asshole leap I could not.

I'm kinda frightened to know what horrors were inflicted upon track 6 that makes it worthy of inclusion here.

A friend burned a copy for me. I actually kinda like it!

The Cannibal Corpse song is beyond awful. The only reason I have it on file is because my friend and I once played a game called "lets find the worst titled song ever, download it and send it to each other." I won.
Pretty much the Google search that led me to that song years back too. The rabbit hole gets deeper when you realize, yes, that's EXACTLY what that song is about.

Jesus. I mean, it figures, but I never really realized because I can't understand what the fuck the guy is "singing." It all sounds like MURR MURR MURR to me.

Anyway, Ryan, if you're checking in here, I've chosen the songs, but probably won't have time to burn the disk and type the list till the weekend. So you should get it sometime next week.
Take your time!

Jake, ya got an address yet?
Jake's homeless. It's just him, his muscles, an old beat up laptop and what's left of his pride on some street corner somewhere.

And his slow cooker. Never forget that.

Thought I'd share the weirdness here, check the links in the playlist below. Most are youtube video's (I highly recommend the glorious mindfuck of EDELWEISS), some are something else. At the bottom there's the DL link for the whole shebang, for those who think they can stomach it.
