I love the CHUD boards. That's why I come on them. Even with the constant whining and flourishes of mean spiritedness I simply enjoy the CHUD boards. If I didn't enjoy them I wouldn't come on anymore... pretty crazy huh?

If you're going to ignore somebody, ignore them. Don't make this big to-do about ignoring them. That's not ignoring them. That's making a big to-do about them. Don't start threads about them, and don't complain about other people quoting them. Be a fucking grown-up and actually learn to ignore someone that annoys you instead of constantly bringing to everyone's attention how they annoy you and you are ignoring them. It makes you look like a fucking psychotic.

I'm torn between the fact that Brad has been one of the best posters to these message boards of all time, and the fact that I also love the retardation- warfare that results from people who feel the need to make their ignore lists public (and invariably post about it.) Often that's funny, but then I think of the people who quote people on MY ignore list and I despair.

Howabout this: Follow Brad's example and be mercilessly FUNNY when you tear down those on your Ignore list that you can't ignore? If they're not funny, don't bring yourself down to their level and be un-funny when you reply.

But again, please don't stop being horribly mean to the people who deserve it. That's why I lurk here.
