Actually some kind of tag team review (like the old days of Chud) of a flick could be a very good idea.

Let me know Ken and maybe we can work something out.

I'm trying to remember how those were done...it was basically a group chat right? Edited a bit I suppose?

Not trying to invite myself but I would be up for such a thing. Maybe we should start with something besides Mac & Me though.

Let's start throwing some PMs around.

You've got a point, a beloved masterpiece like Mac & Me requires a more seasoned touch. Certainly not to be tackled on a first go-round.
If there is interest in being apart of a podcast send me a PM. I don't mind doing the editing and uploading stuff, but it would require that you take time to get together with those that want to. Would you have to be on every single one? No of course not, but the more you are able to make the better.

Personally, I don't currently have the abilities to do anything audio-related, so a group chat session would work the best. Not saying you have to count out some sort of podcast, just listing my inability to participate. Either way, if someone's willing to put it together (aka not me) I'll totally participate.

This is really a quality idea and could bring some much needed unity to the blog section.

I'd love to participate in some sort of tag team review/group chat/podcast

I agree. I think it can also have some impact in drawing up interest for the blog section and CHUD.com overall. Perhaps its just wishful thinking but hey, it's worth a shot.

That sounds like fun.

A couple of years ago, Anderson put something together that involved a bunch of us bloggers. That was really cool.

I'd be up for a tag team review of a film... Let's just pick something other than Mac & Me.

So... BADI then?
I'm up for all of the above myself, it's just a matter of finding time to participate. My only hesitation is that I honestly don't think my reviews are that good yet. I think I'm getting better, but still not up to par with the quality of reviews that populate this fine web site. And I'm not sure if I'm quite ready yet to reveal to the readers and writers of CHUD that I'm an idiot.

Otherwise, I think I'm game.

a chat thing would work best seeing as I'm in the UK. How about we pick a film that is easlly availble on DVD?

Having just seen it again (and due to the fact it didn't get a lot of coverage) how about The Boat that Rocked?

Had to look that one up, it's known as Pirate Radio here and I've been looking for an excuse to see it. Let's do it!

I can probably rent it sometime next week, what should we set as a final view date?
I've wanted to see The Boat that Rocked for a while. If work lets me, I'd like to participate. IF it lets me, because work is kicking my ass at the moment.
Alright, it's settled on The Boat That Rocked/Pirate Radio for the first go-round. That's officially settled (because I said so, that's why). We'll all view it and then have a nice group chat about it.

Alright, I want to know who's in by a few days from now. We need to settle up who's committed to a bloggers super-review and then set a date for chat. I know I'm in. Who else, officially?
Count me in Mr. Coombs.
I'm in, as long my ass being in the uk is not a problem.
Shouldn't be Ken. We just need a time when we will all be online (time zone difference taken into account). I suppose it would be easiest on a weekend day.
This sounds like fun. I'm in. Where and when?
I'm in (nude).
Despite my previous post, you guys are gonna now have to count me out. My computer has up and died (using someone else's at the moment to write this) so I'm gonna be on a forced hiatus for a little while.
I'll be (hopefully) available for this from wednesday next week.
Weekends are going to suit me best for this, should be a lot of fun.
So what happend to this idea?
Good question.
Just published a new blog a couple of days ago. So, I'm reactivated so to speak.

Bump!

Hey guys... wanted to offer some inspiration to my fellow bloggers. Here is a story of a 90 year blogger who writes from her bed in hospice. It's such a privilege to have a space to share our thoughts... If you haven't posted in a while, give this four minutes and watch her story.
