Your treasured rare DVDs. - Page 2

I just discovered another rare DVD I own is now out of print and fetching some decent cash online. The film features a delightfully charming Ed O'Neil in his only starring role in a feature film. This film is known as "Dutch."

I have alot of rare kung-fu films such as Queen Boxer, Pedicab Driver, Burning Ambition, That's Money.

Queen Boxer has an epic end fight, it really is quite amazing.

There's been a copy of that Army of Darkness numbered Limited Edition setting at my Hastings for a while now for $12.99.

Wait, that fancy OLDBOY set is rare? Like, the one in the tin?

I don't think the 3-disc tin box edition of "Oldboy" is that rare. Even my library has a copy of it available to rent.

I'm thinking about selling my tin box or trading it in since I bought the blu-ray "Vengeance trilogy" yesterday at best buy. I'll probably keep the film cell that was placed in the set though.

Edit: Amazon is indicating the set is out of print now. But I'm assuming this is due to Tartan's change in ownership and distribution.

Think I read somewhere that's coming out sometime in a new edition, so if you're gonna sell it, now's the time before the deprived gorehounds find out.

Found the two-disc SE of Jarhead setting on top of a dumpster today while out for a walk. I thought for sure the case would be empty, but when I checked it out, both discs were inside. I figure some collage kid threw it away when he was moving out, because it was on top of some notebooks full of math problems I could never understand. I used to find tons of VHS movies that way.

Why is the blu of the Hills Have Eyes remake OOP?

Those might have been worth something(if that's what you're after) if Anchor Bay didn't have 10 versions of every Evil Dead film. My Army of Darkness was worth like $30+ for one hot minute.

That is odd.
