I'm not sure how many active Chewers are Torontonian, but just in case...
CINSSU (that University of Toronto Cinema Studies Student Union) hosts films at the Innis Town Hall all the time. Sometimes they screen some really good ones, and sometimes they screen stuff that you're not going to be able to catch at any other local cinema. For example, just the other day they screened The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I missed out on that screening because I wasn't in the loop.
Well, now I am! I started following them on Twitter (@CINSSU) and on Facebook, and I got the following news: on Good Friday (April 2), they'll be hosting a free double-bill screening of World's Greatest Dad and Days of Heaven.
I'll probably be heading down with a friend or two, and then grab some drinks afterwards. If anyone else is interested in going, check out these sites for more info:
