So this is the pre-Moore Marvelman, in other words. Whoopty-doo.

In fact, it kinda seems like they might be shooting themselves in the foot here: people might run out to buy this thinking it's the seminal Moore/Gaiman run, find that it's just a disposable 50s Captain Marvel knockoff, and wonder what all the fuss was about. So that when and if the 80s version does hit shelves, the buzz will probably have worn off.
